Murphy Transfer and Storage, or MTS, has been a cornerstone cartage warehouse, distribution and incubator development company throughout the Rockford, Illinois, region. In 1960, MTS started purchasing and leasing depressed, unused properties and making them usable.

We believe in the value of our environment and try to do our part in conserving energy by using existing resources, such as old buildings. According to the National Trust for Historic Preservation, constructing a 50,000 square foot commercial building requires the same amount of energy needed to drive a car 20,000 miles a year for 730 years. Calculations also indicate it takes about 65 years for an energy-efficient new building to save the amount of energy lost in demolishing an existing building.
